Since Gord and I are celebrating our fifth wedding anniversary today, I thought I'd give you 13 things about him that makes me go hmmmm?

1. Loves eggs and has them for breakfast (either whole eggs or egg whites) EVERY freakin' day.
2. His weekend breakfast consists of fried eggs which are on top of ham which is on top of toast (so three layers). Then he breaks the yolks so they run over everything. Yet for any other meal, none of his food can touch each other.
3. Doesn't like sauce on food because he doesn't like getting his hands "gunky". So we rarely share wings or ribs as I love sauce.
4. Likes having the “Favourites” column up on the left-hand side of the screen when he surfs (rather than clicking on the “Favourites” dropdown which disappears when you don’t need it).
5. His hangers in his closet are colour coded … so his work shirts on one colour hanger, his teeshirts on another, etc.
6. When something is on sale, he only wants to buy one or two whereas I’m inclined to stock up with at least ten (we have a small condo but I can always find room for sales).
7. Threatens me with a min/max PowerPoint presentation and spreadsheet when he feels we have too much of something (see #6).
8. Will go up and down the aisles in the grocery store in the same direction every time.
9. Never works on his birthday - to me, it's just another day.
10. Showers with the door closed (I find that suffocating even with the fan on).
11. Loves hats and has convinced me that it’s okay to have two hat hooks by the door – but he can't have a third ... two's enough!
12. I’ve introduced him to Avon shower gels and he has seven different kinds (fruit scented and “manly man”) on the go … any less and he feels he’s running low - #7 apparently doesn’t apply with shower gels.
13. Plus he now has three or four kinds of shampoo on the go (fruit or peppermint scented) – #7 apparently doesn’t apply with shampoos either.
