Pacific Mall

I had heard of the Pacific Mall, though I'd never been.

I was in that area this afternoon and stopped in.

The Pacific Mall, located in North Toronto, is the largest indoor Asian mall in North America. It is a shopping attraction that incorporates a traditional Pacific market style. It has 400 stores selling a large variety of retail goods as well as herbs, prepared Chinese foods and entertainment.

The Pacific Mall and other shops in the complex are highly influenced by the oriental artistic style. Visitors locals and tourists are offered a unique oriental shopping experience.

Very different from the malls I'm used to. Definitely worth the visit, though.

I'd heard that you can buy bootlegged DVDs very cheaply there. I was picturing a dark dingy store hidden away in the back.

But no ... there are about ten regular-looking stores scattered around the mall, with signs in the windows advertising 8 DVDs for $20.

And most of these movies are still in the theatres ... some just opened last week!

How can they get away with that?

Do you think it's okay?

I'm not sure they can, but if you wanna pick me up the new Narnia one that would rock! LOL!

That's a new one!

Around here bootlegged DVD's are sold from the trunks of cars...or from salon to barbershop...I have never heard of them being sold from the mall!

I don't think that is right...
